That heading was a real struggle. It’s Paul McCartney’s 70th birthday, so I thought I’d commemorate his time in India. The Beatles’ visit to Rishikesh, India, in 1968 to attend advanced Transcendental Meditation sessions is credited for reshaping Western attitudes to India and Indian spirituality. Happy B(eatles)day, Paul! You were never the “ugly Beatle” to me!
